I recently had a conversation with someone that doesn’t understand what Twitter could do for their business. Their comment was, “I really don’t care about seeing what someone is doing – and why would I want to tell the world that I just walked into Starbucks”. Based on that conversation, here’s what I told him makes Twitter an important part of a businesses social media marketing campaign.
When I first started playing with WordPress, I realized how much more impact this platform has over other platforms like Blogger or Tumblr. It comes down to Branding, Search, and Flexiblity.
We’re seeing a return to common sense. We want more out of less. We want to feel connected to what we have spent our money on. Those who produce designs that help create a long-term emotional bond to the brand, to the product, and to the company that produced them, will be the winners once we rebound out of this downturn.
